FAQ’s
Feel free to send me a message before placing an order to find out if your photo will work for your custom art piece or with any other questions that you might have. If you need help choosing a reference photo, I can help with that, too. You can contact me here.
How long does my custom portrait take to make?
Timelines may vary depending on how long it takes to approve the initial artwork and if there are any holidays. From submission of photo, the initial artwork takes 5-7 days and, once the artwork is approved, 2 weeks for a final product.
*Please note* due to Covid-19 shipping could take longer and when I order supplies, they might take a little while to come in. I will do everything in my power to keep to our timeline, but will be sure to immediately relay any delays if they do come up.
What is your satisfaction guarantee?
I want for you to be 100% happy with your custom pet collage. While I do not accept cancellations once I begin your drawing, if you are unhappy with my hand-drawn digital image, you can request as many changes as needed for no additional charge, based on the reference photo. Once you have approved your drawing, no further changes can be made. (It has been cut out and glued up and it would mean starting the whole process over.)
I am having this sent as a gift. Will the prices be included in the order?
Short answer...nope. Just to be safe, send me a message so that we can include ONLY the info you want is to.
What kind of frame do I need to get to be ready to hang my custom portrait?
Your portrait will arrive with a frame, but if you choose to buy your own, any 16x20 frame will work. I take the glass out so that the details and dimensions can be fully appreciated. Deep set frames can accommodate our art with the glass. (Don’t forget to check out Michael’s. They put their frames on sale all of the time!)
Will I get a hi-res copy of the digital drawing with my order?
I’ll start by saying, if you’d like to purchase a hi-res copy of the drawing that I make for your order, I’ll be glad to do that.
Next, I feel like I should say that the drawing itself is created just to show you, my customer, what to expect with their final product...which is a paper collage of that image. They aren’t “poster quality”, hi-res digital drawings. Just a communication tool and "blueprint" for my final product.
